I have 30 years experience in the software industry, mostly building software and several years selling software. That work spans startups, enterprise and government projects, and products that had to survive beyond their first launch.
I have been working with LLMs and AI coding tools for more than a year. My current tool of choice is Claude Code, so I understand both the speed and the failure modes of AI-generated software.
